Coming from four generations of skilled German carpenters, Jacob Soukoreff is living proof that building is in the blood. His professional career began the day after high school graduation when he started working for a local carpenter. He immediately began his apprenticeship at BCIT and then finished his Red Seal certification soon after. In 2017, he and his wife Crystal took over the business and founded Westmont Projects Ltd. together.

Crystal has a bachelor of technology in architectural science with a studio major from BCIT, and worked in the architectural profession for over five years before staying home to be with their four children and raise the next generation of designer/builders. She is currently involved in the financials and administrative dealings, and is getting back into the design aspect, as well as photographing Westmont's many projects. Together they, along with their awesome team, look forward to making your building dreams a reality.
CREW
Each crew member is hand-picked and diverse in talents. Currently over half of our team are ticketed Red Seal carpenters, which means you will be getting an unprecedented level of skill and knowledge working on your project. The rest of the team are in various stages of their apprenticeship.
Safety is paramount to our company. We continue to upgrade our crew member's certification in first-aid, fall protection, rigging, and machine operation.
